GenCyberForensics@NU features:

  • Introduction to Cyber Forensics: Learn about the different jobs you can do within forensics, and get a sense of each.
  • Deep-dive: Enjoy detailed training with hands-on exercises in several tools used for analyzing computers and mobile devices – with the opportunity to take a certification exam!
  • Outdoor Exercises: Including Norwich’s first digital detective whodunit! Did we mention you get to keep the mobile phone?
  • Guest Speakers: Experts will present “hot topics” in forensics and facilitate a Q&A about life as a
    forensic specialist.
  • Off-campus excursions: A look at how industry is helping to combat challenges to new
technology such as the Internet of Things.
  • Competitive Exercises: Surprise cyber forensic challenges with prizes awarded to the winners.

GenCyber participants will be provided with the hardware and software to build a mini computer, which you’ll keep at the end of the program!
